Crunchy Fruity French Toast


Who doesn't like the sound of some delicious French Toast? Now how about if I added the word "crunchy" in front of french toast? You guess it!! This Delicious Crunchy French Toast will have you saying brunch all day and night! Ok, so lets stop the talking and get on with the cooking!

Ingredients above: White bread, eggs, butter, crushed corn flakes, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, chopped fresh strawberries, wild blueberries.

In a bowl mix the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.

Beat the ingredients together and dip in the bread slices one at a time.

Immediately dip the bread into the crushed corn flakes (make sure the corn flakes and crushed to small pieces to ensure that they stick onto the bread.

Heat a non-stick pan and add in a tablespoon of butter.

Add in the bread slices and fry for about 2-3 mins a side and flip.

Wala! Place the french toasts on a plate, add in some powdered sugar and top with fresh fruits!

Don't forget to get some syrup!

Crunchy Fruity French Toast

Ingredients:

- 6 Slices of White Bread, cut in half peices

- 2 Large Eggs

- 2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter

- 2 Tablespoons of milk

- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

- 2 cups of crushed corn flakes

- Syrup for serving

Directions:

1. In a bowl whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.

2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Working one at a time dip the bread slices in the egg mixture, then dredge in crushed corn flakes and coat evenly.

4. Working in batches add the bread slices in the skillet, 3-4 slices at a time and cook evenly until golden brown and crispy about 2-3 minutes a side.

5. Plate slices of french toast on a plate, top with powdered sugar and freshly chopped fruits and drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy!!!
